The Turkish Home Textile Industrialists and Business People Association (TETSİAD) was founded in 1991 as the umbrella organization of the home textile sector. Since its establishment, TETSİAD has grown into a broad non-governmental organization representing all product groups operating in the Turkish home textile industry.

As the umbrella organization of a sector that contributes significantly to national income through production, employment, investment and promotion, TETSİAD works with determination to move the sector forward. One of its most important projects is HOMETEX, one of the world’s leading home textile fairs.

Held every year across 11 halls and 200,000 square meters, HOMETEX hosts approximately 170,000 visitors and stands among Turkey’s largest trade fairs.

The home textile sector, one of the locomotive industries of the Turkish economy, continues to increase its export volume through investments in production, design and employment.
